Miraculous colour paints the sky
As the sun sets low in the west.
The Master's brush flows with splendour
To dream of while we rest.
Adieu to the sun, as it reflects,
In the mirrored water nearby;
A perfect finale for our day
As we watch, in awe, and sigh.
How glorious is God's canvas -
No sunset quite the same;
Different brushes, a different palette,
But strokes of love remain.
Implanted in our memory
Is the beauty and peace above;
One of faith and hope for our world
But the greatest colour is love.
