The Glory
The Lamb of God was slain
And Jesus is His name.
He died for all mankind,
So Eternal life we can find.
The Glory of it all,
The Majesty and the gall
Men turned their backs on Him,
And some would die in sin.
The Savior of the world
Was stripped and brutally hurled.
Into the hands of heathens
And those who stopped believing.
His life was destined for Glory
As told in the old, old, story.
He came to earth to give us life,
To stop the turmoil and the strife.
Our pentance HE paid for us,
How wonderful and how glorious.
The day was turned to night,
As the soldiers fled in fright.
How could it be that it was He,
The Son of God, turned out to be,
The lowly virgin and carpenter's son,
Would be the KING OF GLORY !!
