A Moment

Draw me aside, Lord. please do it, now.
For the storm, on lifes sea, is too much.
Id like to smell roses ~ the scent of new rain;
The pressure of Your tender touch.
Id like to hear, softly, the sound of Your voice
and see, faintly, on Your face ...
A smile thats spontaneous ~ prompted by deeds ~
I can perform by Your grace.
I just need a moment ~ the catching of breath.
The races I run are diverse.
So, draw me aside for moments with You,
So that my will and Yours will immerse.

How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.
In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.
For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
