A Place To Rest
Are there times when your heart is sad,
Feel you can't face another day?
Are you all alone and lonely,
Friends and family far away?
Do you struggle with daily problems,
And solutions cannot find?
Need someone to hold your hand,
When there's worry on your mind?
God gave you a place to rest,
He's waiting there for you.
Just call upon His Holy name,
There's nothing He can't do!
In His hands put your burdens,
And in the morning light,
You'll find you have the answers,
That you prayed for in the night.
Troubles will soon fade away,
And tears will disappear.
When you call upon our Father
And ask Him to come near.
