Too Late?
A ruler once came to Jesus to plead
For the life of his daughter, a healer he'd need
But while on the way, a servant did say...
It's too late!
Don't bother the teacher now
Too Late!
Don't bother to humbly bow
Too Late!
Come, leave the Master alone
too late...
Please come along home.
The crowd fell away, Jesus moved through the din,
He came to the house and went right on in,
Dispelling the mourners, the wailing, the weeping,
"Why this commotion, when she is just sleeping?"
Well that boisterous crowd... just laughed out loud!
It's too late!
Death has come here,
Too Late!
the family's in fear
Too Late
The girl's soul's gone away
too late...
We're embalming her today.
But Jesus told the crowd, "Leave, quickly go
To the family only, I want to show...
That on their little girl, I'll abundantly shower,
All of My Father's resurrection power"
So he took hold the cold limp lifeless hand
And said "Little girl... will you please stand"
It's Not Too Late!
I say to you arise!
Never too late!
For you to come alive!
Not Too Late!
For everyone to see
Not too late!
To Believe In Me!
