Angel Of Love
I see her flying
Past the moon and stars.
She is my angel of love,
Sent from God above.
She soars in elegance
From heaven, afar.
She is being sent to me
With a message of love.
God, Himself, has sent
Her here, to me.
He wants me to be happy.
This, I know.
As His angel embraces me,
I feel such tenderness and glee.
She speaks very softly.
Her face is a beautiful glow.
She is giving me a message
From God, Himself.
God wants me to know I am His child
And He loves me so.
He wants me to share His love
And take my heart off the shelf.
My heart has been hurt, many times.
I put it on the shelf, long ago.
My angel speaks
His message,
"God wants you to be happy
And full of His love.
You have a gift to share with the world.
Now, use it, my child;
This gift you were given,
From me, in heaven above.
You write my words.
Tell the world of my love.
My messenger will help you.
She knows what to say.
One day, I will call you home,
To heaven above.
This will be a day of jubilation;
What a wonderful day.
My child, keep doing
Your work for me.
Your reward will be
An eternal home.
My Son, Jesus, and I
Wait; patiently.
You will be surrounded by love,
No more on earth to roam."
