His Eye Is On The Sparrow

.....ye are of more value than many sparrows. ( Luke 12: 7 )

The old song, "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" asks the question, "why should we be discouraged or dismayed?" We have a heavenly Father who is watching over us. His eye is on the sparrow and if He cares enough to provide for the birds of the air, we know how much more our Father cares for us.

We have been blood bought, by the Lamb of God, and adopted into the royal family of God. As His children, we are cared for with the greatest love of all. There is nothing that goes unnoticed. Our Lord sees every tear that falls and knows the deepest woes of a person's heart. He cares for us and will always be there to see us through.

The next time you feel discouraged or all alone, remember the words of our Lord which tell us, "I will never leave or forsake you." He will be with us until the end of the world. Throughout all eternity, God's children shall sing His praises and forever dwell with Him.

It's great to know that while we walk through this world below, we have one who watches over us. How thankful we should be for His grace which saved and set us free. Jesus is truly worthy of all our honor and praise. May His name be glorified today and forevermore.

[6] ~ Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
[7] ~ But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
[8] ~ Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
[9] ~ But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
[10] ~ And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
[11] ~ And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
[12] ~ For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say. ( Luke 12: 6-12 )(KJV) |
