In The Safety
Of The Palm Of His Hand
There isn't a trial...
a heartache...or problem
where the Lord isn't all
that He says He will be.
For God is faithful
when conflict rises to the surface
and the dark clouds
are all that we see.
He's the lover of our souls...
when our souls are sore
from the weariness
and pain of our flesh.
For the season we walk through
doesn't hinder God's ability
to move with us
and abundantly bless.
There isn't one promise
that God has for His children
which will tarnish
or fade with the pain.
For if we believe those promises
there in our drought
we'll be watered
by spiritual rain.
God's ability to provide
will not run and hide
as if scared by the magnitude
of our need.
But through lean times
we'll know Him as ultimate Provider
...manifesting Himself
through kind deeds.
There is no sadness,
devastation...or great sorrow
where we're just left there
to mend on our own.
For the ashes give way
to God's beauty one day
and flowers bloom
from the tears we have sown.
Everything and all things
Father says He will do
will give us strength
and the courage to stand.
For we are not abandoned,
but rather held so tightly
in the safety
of the palm of His hand.

Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
