One True Living God
Who created all of the earth
And the Heavens, in its' glorious splendor?
It was just the One True Living God,
With a heart so warm and tender.
Or was it a brazen statue
Who always stands so still
That, no matter what you pray for,
Your dreams go unfulfilled?
Who made the birds and the butterflies,
And opened up a blind man's eyes?
Who parted the waters and healed the lame?
Now, can a brazen statue do the same?
Who made every living creature
That dwells on sea and land?
God willed them all into existence,
With just the touch of His sweet hand.
Now, there is but One True Living God
And He doesn't live in the land of Nod.
He dwells in the Heavens, up above,
And He's worthy of our praise and love.
So, as we look up to the Heavens,
At the One Lord we adore,
Let us thank Him for our blessings
And worship, Him only, forevermore.
