Did I ?
Have I been all I can be
As I reflect back to see,
Has it all been worthwhile
And did I go that extra mile?
Have I to others been kind
Showing no malice of mind?
Have I helped when I could
As God directs we should?
Did I bow to pray each day
Asking forgiveness for my way?
Did I read my Bible faithfully
To study God's words carefully?
Have I attended church on Sunday
And kept my faith weekdays?
Have I heeded God's teacher
Our gentle parish preacher?
Did I pray for those in need
Asking God to intercede?
Have I helped spread the gospel
To those that are hostile?
Did I place God above all others
And never idolize another?
Will my slate be clean at the end?
Will my soul to Heaven ascends?
