An Answer To My Prayer
God sent me an angel
She was an answer to my prayer
For she has always known me
And has been with me through the years
She is a gift of love
She helped me put my wings on
To forever to be free
She is an answer to my prayer
I needed so desperately
 
She did not fly down from a cloud
Or fall from a falling stars
She was with me always
In the trees and in the breeze
She is all I am and want to be
God sent me an angel
To hold and to keep
All my life I will be thankful
An answer to my prayer
I now can get to sleep
