Foreign Land
She lays her precious hope
Within the fragile, lofty, nest
And waits for time to bring to pass
The promises confessed.
She dreams and prays, and knows
That we are truly strangers here.
But, we believe His blood will pay
For that Precious Land, so dear.
We know, full well, this foreign land
Will give us cause to weep.
But, Oh, my heart! We know that He
Will every promise keep.
And furthermore, we realize
The testing of this time ~
That He is always with us;
Sharing all the blood and grime.
He'll never walk away and leave
Us stranded here, alone.
No, He will be beside us
'Til the day He takes us home!
So, fragile though the nest may seem
While she is waiting there,
Each soul will have sufficient wings
To glide right through the air!

Heavenly Poetry
Under His Wings This writing may be used in its entirety, with credits in tact, for non-profit ministering purposes.
His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate. I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
