Come Unto His Presence
Come unto His presence
and be still
to receive His message
His divine will
He will keep the paths
of our feet straight
He will help us walk through
not over the gate.
We must trust
and submit to Him
with courage
authored by Him.
For we are like steamships
plowing through the storms of the sea.
We are as ground powder
yeasting up so others can see.
We become like His image
as those before us did;
Abraham-the "Father of Faith"
his obedience was not hid.
Jacob-suffered severe thrashings
Joseph-beaten and bruised
David-was hunted like prey
The apostle Paul, so afflicted
how he suffered, but did not mourn
just said that�s OK
I�m doing it Jesus� way.
I�ll strive to be like Him.
To die for Him is gain.
That was Paul�s motto,
and ours should be the same.
Come unto His presence.
Come and be still.
Come receive His message.
Come seek His will
