Multiplied Miracles
How often in our lives are we faced with circumstances
thrust upon us by the unfairness of life.
And we believe we can't take it, so we pray for a miracle
- an escape from the pain of our strife.
While God is still certainly giving and granting
those miracles where the heartache's reversed,
He isn't confined to one particular kind
for great miracles are daily dispersed.
When God allows His children who truly love Him
to continue to live a hard story,
It's because He has a plan & He knows the big picture
and what He will do to show us greater glory.
It's a "miracle of grace" we get in the hard place
when grace is the final explanation,
Of why we're even able to keep going every day
through the struggle of our own situation.
It's a "miracle of wisdom" God will pour out upon us
in the dark hours when nothing makes sense,
When we choose to trust in His pure, sovereign nature
and know that love holds us in like a fence.
It's a "miracle of refinement" God will grant
through the process where we're
changed before our very own eyes.
For we become more like Christ...
more tender and usable
and those watching us are moved & surprised.
It's a "miracle of new vision" which opens
our spiritual eyes to see the hand of God
moving around.
Right in the midst of the problem
we are forced to walk through we see God
working, claiming His ground.
And it's "multiplied miracles" God will lavish upon us
when reversal isn't the miracle He sends.
For His ways are much higher....
His plans so much deeper
for the glory He will gain in the end.
