Are You Listening Lord?
Don't mean to bother you,
There is so much I need to say.
If I can just ask you Lord,
To help me along life's way.
I want to serve you
The best I know how,
But need for you to guide me
On how to do that now.
There are so many suffering
They don't understand their pain
Please help me to tell others
That their hurting is not in vain.
People are fighting around the world,
Seems to be no peace at all,
Only in you can one find peace
When on you they decide to call.
Most of all Lord, please help me to find
The right words to tell people that need you
That you are the only path to lead them
To heaven where peace and love are true.
Lord, I ask you to help us all
Among this sinful world we're in
May the lost open up to you
And through prayer leave their sin.
And I ask you to now come
On in this very wicked place
And walk with those that need you most,
As their Lord with saving Grace.
Help us all Lord to look up to you
For everything we need,
And thank you daily for all
That we have already received.
Praise your holy name Lord,
We have these things we seek,
Without you Lord our future
Would be so totally bleak.
Will be looking forward to seeing you Lord
And see the beauty we're waiting for
When we leave this troubled place for good
And make the step to heaven's door.
Thank you Jesus for listening to this prayer,
I am so very thankful that I have you
To turn to for your caring love
And guidance in everything I do.
We should all count our many blessings
Every day, and every way too
As the days pass by on this earth,
We are getting closer to seeing you.
Don't delay to ask Jesus to come into your heart.
No one knows when He will return to take His children home. |
