I was standing in the water, up to my waist,
As the choir gathered 'round to sing 'Amazing Grace'.
I didn't notice any angels. But, I saw some Saints
Standing on the edge of the river bank.
The Pastor talked about the blood of Jesus
And how He cleansed my soul.
Then, he told how He died upon the cross
So that we could be made whole.
Then, he said, on authority of the Lord of Hosts,
"You're baptized by the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
And as I went under, I heard the choir sing
A big 'Halleluiah', to The 'King of Kings'.

When I came back up, I saw a sky so blue;
I'd taken off the old and put on the new.
And now I'll never forget that beautiful day,
When the Lord washed all of my sins away.
Then, as I walked up to the river bank,
I was hugged and kissed by the other Saints.
Tears of joy streamed down their face ~
For another poor sinner who was saved by grace.

And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
