| Power Tweek Modulation 1) Locate the middle leg of TR24. Cut the track going to this leg and bridge a 1.5k resister between them. 2) Change R126 to a 4.7k resister. 3) Change R124 to a 4.7k resister. 4) Re-tune L37 and L38 for maximum RF forward power. You can also remove R131 for increased modulation on AM, but it'll "garble" on SSB. You should see about 5 khz of slide. (1 khz up and 4 khz down) 10 Khz Jump This mod is kinda tricky! It will not jump on all channels. The easiest way to give you both up and down jumps is with a SPDT Toggle switch. 1) Cut trace to pin 16 on the PLL. 2) Jump a 4.7k resister accross the cut you made. 3) Solder a jumper from center of switch to pin 9 on PLL. (8 volts) 4) One side of the switch goes to the cut side of pin 16 on PLL. 5) The other side of the switch goes to pin 18 on PLL. |
