| Power Tweek and Modulation 1) Change final RF transistor to a 2SC1969. 2) Change C58 to a 180pF Capacitor. 3) Remove R123 and place a jumper in its spot. 4) Desolder D11 which is the modulation diode. 5) Parallel C62 with a 100pf capacitor. 6) Re-tune coils L12, L13, L14 for maximum forward power. If the radio overmodulates, then resolder D11. This also enables VR4, so you can adjust your modulation. |
