| Power Tweek and Modulation 1) Change final RF transistor to a 2SC1969. 2) Change R43 to a 2.7 ohm resister. 3) Change R76 to a 1k ohm resister. 4) Change R108 to a .47 ohm resister. 5) De-solder one side of D9, which is the modulation limiter. 6) Parallel C62 with a 100pf capacitor. 7) Re-tune coils L8, L9, L10, L13 for maximum forward power. If the radio overmodulates, then resolder D9 and re-check. You'll be able to use VR5 to adjust your modulation. |
