Chibi Oni Rue: What essay, what class, how long
does it have to be?
Jin no Tenshi: esaay on a book, trues stories and
other fictions and 4-6 pages

Chibi Oni Rue: Ok, calm down, no worries It can be
done i promise.
Jin no Tenshi: wah. i dunno what to write
Chibi Oni Rue: are there any themes that follow
through all the stories?
Chibi Oni Rue: or, is there anything that you're
supposed to write about?
Jin no Tenshi: um...the book is about medevial
peasant life.
Jin no Tenshi: im supposed to write about the book
Chibi Oni Rue: <nods> I understand that..but is it one
solid story, or is it a collection of stories?
Jin no Tenshi: its a solid story
Chibi Oni Rue: Ok, now, what's the theme? Hard
work? patience, ect
Jin no Tenshi: um...that historians missed important
stuff about peasnat life back then
Chibi Oni Rue: So that you can in the paper say,
"Such and such book demonstartes the theme '____'. "
and use that as the thesis, and then follow along and
give each paragraph as an example of how the book
demonstrates that..
Chibi Oni Rue: using plently of quotes and
comparions to modern life..
Jin no Tenshi: hmm. good idea

Chibi Oni Rue: that's the best way to apporach any
essay that has to be written over a topic, find a unfiying
theme and just write about that finding examples and
making comaprisons.
Chibi Oni Rue: *huggles* no worries I've had how
many years to perfect that formula
Chibi Oni Rue: plus, it's the one my english teacher in
high school gave me
Chibi Oni Rue: Though, I will warn you sometimes
doing it that way you end up with too much info.
Chibi Oni Rue: Another good way to fill space, find
an article, like online or something, and use that as extra
info to filter into the paper,

Chibi Oni Rue: oh, and 12.5-13 point font helps a
little bit too if you're cunched for space.

closer to Times, but the letters are slightly wider

BS as long as it sounds like it fits into the topic you
don't want all of it to be BS, but adding a little can act
as filler

for examples some time, doubt they'd be much help
otherwise, but at least you'd be able to see the formula

REALLY well in the early morning

or 2, since class is at 9

time...right now..

Jin no Tenshi: yeah. midnight to 4 in the morning are
good writing hours for me
Jin no Tenshi: which sucks cause i end up lacking
sleep
Chibi Oni Rue: Yeah I know exactly what you mean
Jin no Tenshi: or i just sleep through the days classes
Chibi Oni Rue: I have that happen too..
Chibi Oni Rue: it's not good..but sometimes it just
happens.
Jin no Tenshi: its a little past sometimes for me
Chibi Oni Rue: Well yeah.. heh ^^;; "Oh I'm sleepy, I
don't need to go to this class... the notes are online, it's
better to sleep in bed than in a uncomfortable chair"

Chibi Oni Rue: or the "Uguu....it's -20 outside...the
sidewalks are covered in ice, and it's a 20 min walk to
class...I can miss "just" this once..."

to the new apartment..

campus..maybe block and a half..

Chibi Oni Rue: the new place is down this HUGE hill
that's always covered in ice in the winter..and the wind
blows down the hill pushing you down the ice
Chibi Oni Rue: old apartment I could walk from my
door to the farside of campus in about 15 min, 5 min
bike ride.. new apartment it's about a 30-40 min walk
to the farside

walking to class

hour and half.. it was totaly bs
Chibi Oni Rue: and I got an A+ on it..and a comment
from the prof on how he loved reading my essay
because I demonstarted my clear grasp of the topic
with my insightfull comments and such

edit in a 2nd theme possibly? just something to flesh
things out?

yet
Chibi Oni Rue: Well if you're still short you can
always add a 2nd. Also, in the conclusion, do a
summary of all the little topics you've covered.. (briefly)
and recap the little insightfull comments...kind of ting
them all together, if you do it well enough you can
normally get about another half to 3/4 of a page
