The Road is passing endlessly
I travel to a destination unknown
lost in my thoughts
Headlights flash in my eyes
waking me from my daze
The music that is playing
keeps me thinking about the past
I�m driving to get away from that
But it�s still there
following me

The sun is up the road is long
I�m behind a brand new shiny car
this car reflects the sun in my eyes
the heat unbearable
the window is jammed the A/C is broke

The sun is fading, the road straight
In the distance through the glare
huge blue mountains ahead
My eyes are watering from staring into the sun
The road is empty
My brain still remembering what happened the night before
Not remembering what happened today
bound by my thoughts
The road is no escape
If anything it is my prison
