Today I saw you!
Today you held me as we walked for miles,
And talked forever.
We watched the sunset,
And the water sparkled off your precious blue eyes.
You sang to me and read me poems.
You took my hand and said,
the three words every girl dreams of.
And as you kissed my tender lips,
My heart sunk deep within me,
As I realized this was only a dream.
But yet someday...
We WILL walk and talk forever.
I WILL love you forever.
You WILL kiss me,
And we will say, "I do."
And that is when I will know...
That it's a dream...
