My Teaching Interests & Aspirations
My intests as an educator are to make revisions and contributiuons to the current education system that is operating on the reservations across the nation. Over the years my experience with education on the reservation hasn't been very good, because of the lack of resources and positive influence by community. My dream is to eventually bring cultural restoration through the education system to enhance the potential of successfulness on and off the reserves in Canada. I want to do this by:
- Incorparating / Integrating culture with Education
- Creating Cultural Awareness
- Allieviating Substance Abuse
- Creating Empowering role model Programs
- Re-Writing the current curriculum with cultural components
