9/07/2008 - Imaged NEOCP object 8R14E80 last night. At Mag 18.4 a challenging project, however tracking was very good and with a new PEC table and PHD Guiding the starfield held rock steady. Stacks of 40 brought out the image quite well. Would like my residuals a little better-possibly a timing problem... New object is 2008 RY24. |

9/15/2008 - Imaged 'unusual" 2008 JS14 18.0M @ 11s DSI. PHD guiding perfect at this time through 45 minutes. Sent 3 images to MPC. |

10/04/2008 - Begin photometry of asteroid 252 Clementina. Location is good, Mag 13.8, and previous studies show a 10 hr period at .35 amplitude. Maybe I can get some better coverage. |

10/07/2008 - Another night with 252. Data presented below. |

|
10/18/2008 - Another 2 hours of 252 data. Object is now Mag 14.0 and errors are growing. Will have to finish up within the next week or so. |

|
10/19/2008 - 2 1/2 hrs more. Bad dec control after flip, will check out balance today. Don't need data tonight anyways except for overlap. |

11/02-03/2008 - Started imaging 182 Elsa in a collaborative effort with Frederick Pilcher (Illinois College) and Vladimir Benishek (Belgrade Observatory). Two nights of limited data, the first of which was interrupted by a guiding malfunction, the second by cloud cover. Still managed to get about 3 hrs each night. Here's what has been collected so far by all parties.... |

11/20/2008 - After 2 weeks of bad weather, picked up 2.5 hours of 182 Elsa data. Nice results, though a short run. |

11/21/2008 - NEWS - I am moving to St Petersburg, FL. The Dark Rosanne Observatory will be shut down in about one week. Reopening in Florida is not expected for 6 months or so 'til I find a suitable new home. I hope skies are freindly to amateur observers in FL! |
