Frighten You?

Does the costume frighten you?
Why? It is only a set of gloves.
Worn to protect my hands while I write.
Believe me, it does help in the long run.
So, what else makes you worry?
The short brown-red hair that looses its curl after so long?
Or the size of my shoe that stamps about?
My nails are normal, as are my ears.
Yet my eyes are boring, you say.
