The sounds filled the ears of Head Pro singer, Scott Francioni, and Guitarist Andy Monteverte. They were impressed with the fresh sound Krappachino was making. They became the first special musical guests to come play with Krappachino, for a one-time only show. The gig started off with Scott on the drums, Andy and Kevin whaling away at guitar, and Chris singing the emotional lyrics of such smash hits as "Jean Jackets, Where Did They Go?" and "The Ugliness of Yellow." This fame was short lived for Krappachino. It was 1:30 in the morning and the neighbors began to complain. Andy and Scott called it quits. Krappachino was once again left in the dark. This departure of Head Pro members sparked ideas into Chris and Kevin's heads. The lineups that the band went through seemed to be doing more harm than good. But with a few bright stars such as Springer and Wojcik, they felt that those kinds of people only come once a millennium.
Krappachino then realized that the real talent rested on their fingertips. They decided that constant lineup changes was not good for the bands morale and that they dont need that sort of treatment. They decided to fight the music world as a duo. Ever since they went solo, they've played bigger hits then ever before. After the local success of their first album, Self-Titled, they chose to do a second album, this time only with their playing skills. The second play list included: Ode to Yella', Old School Lakeview, 50 lashes (extended), the famous "Clazzic", and the controversial song, RAF BOO or RAF BOON (Which do you prefer). This album was titled, Krappachino - Would You Like a Cup? - The album is a favorite among all fans. It also seemed to form a cult following through the alleys of Lakeview and even the Lanes of Lakevista. 5 year olds on bikes werent caught dead without a Krappachino tune in their head. And everything they saw reminded them of Krappachino. Whether they looked up at the sun and thought, Ugliness of Yellow or even just thought, Hey, I should try giving 50 lashes to someone. Krappachino became known on the streets as Killer Krappachino, brought on from their take no prisoners attitude as well as their eat goldfish for life attitude. The latter attitude described was later dropped from representation, due to lack of making sense.
But pretty soon the clouds around Lakeview once again grew gray. It was pouring droplets of hopelessness and disbelief. Constant fights with the police as well as inner disputes from the household about noise threatened the extinction of Krappachino. Much of the equipment they had continued to use throughout the years was somehow disappearing. The space within the office became less a place of music and more a place for unused basketball jerseys. On a lighter side, Mr. X obtained his own battle-axe and shield for future Krap wars. This purchase temporarily fueled their aggression for more songs. Then the inevitable happened. The studio was up for sale. A place where the talent all started is now being sold like some cheap whore. Well Krappachino is not a cheap; they are a band based on using other peoples equipment instead of buying their own. But Krappachino still practices, whether its on rooftops or even just outside on a swing set.
These guys lived through many things through the years to get to where they are. The practicing was limited, due to problems with the rented instruments, constant interruptions by Larry Francioni the III, and also limited playing time past 12 midnight. Then the departure of the studio worsened their hopes. They fought hard and deserve the respect. In recent months, it seems that many are trying to imitate Krappachino's sound (others playing on equipment), but none comes close to their true sound. These people, who march in to the recording studio (office), think they know how to make 'Krapp sound but its useless, for Krappichino is an original band, and will stay that way as long as Head Pro is still together. They even managed to get a music video out, focusing on the early days of the song The Clazzic. The song was a basement demo, and is only available for a limited time. Krappachino hopes to keep striving for excellence, and will always play for a neighborhood near you, as long as you live in Lake View.
