| Three Dreams of Two People A crowd of people making up a big wall tall and long shadow shaded me Everyone took a turn to peek through a small window of a gate An old lady crying at the side An old man smoking cigarettes one after one asked the person next to him to buy him twenty more as he found his box was empty It was my dads turn Can I see? My dad lifted me up and I looked through the window My mom gently put her down on the same bed with me Keep quiet, until she falls asleep. I tried my best to reply by only my eyes because I didnt want to shake the bed anyhow by nodding or smiling not even breathing hard My body was stiff a dry throat, watery eyes, scratch noses overwhelming me But I didnt make a move I kept myself quiet even after she felt asleep and She was still sleeping Opened my eyes Closed my eyes None of these made any difference My eyes couldnt tell me where I was for the first time (or they did ever anyhow) only the sense of feeling took place The chair that I was sitting cold as ice, which never told me How long I have been sitting here but just it was made by metal |
