Jp (Jumping) Bonepillar/ Bone Skewer
Bouncing, impaled dragon skulls that can be encountered in The Shrine of Apostates 'B' area of the Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance Game Boy Advance video game. Jp Bonepillars are fairly flush with cash and will occasionally drop a bag of gold containing either $250 or $400 when defeated. These creatures are a variation of the Scarecrow enemy first seen in Castlevania: Symphony of The Night.
ABILITIES:
The cursed blade on which the Bonepillar is impaled is possessed and animated by a poltergeist--the dragon skull is more or less just along for the ride, and rather unwillingly at that. The sword constantly hops madly about, in a pogo stick-like fashion, hoping to skewer anyone or anything on its many barbs. It can jump distances as high as 3.1 meters (10 feet) and as far as 4.6 meters (15 feet) in a single bound. For its part, the unfortunate Bonepillar vomits balls of searing flame.
WEAKNESSES:
The possessed sword is overzealous and will often bounce right over its intended target, missing them entirely. The Bonepillar's aim is severely hampered by all the jumping; when the creature manages to hit something with its fireballs it is seldom more than blind luck. This unlikely duo is weak against the elemental force of wind: A strong gale will strongly effect this top-heavy, demonic shish kabob's already unstable center of gravity and balance, often with disastrous results.
Materials: Kleenex, newsprint, white/hot glue, toothpick segments, two plastic beads, the plastic ink tube from a ballpoint pen, and acrylic/latex paint.
Dimensions: 23.4 cm/9.2 in. x 10.0 cm/3.9 in. (highest point x widest point)
