NOTICE
(Updated 7/27/09)
Yahoo! will be closing down Geocities (the web space service I have used since the first day I created my web site years ago) towards the end of October 2009. When Geocities goes away, most of my web site's navigational infrastructure will cease to function properly because almost all of my on-site links direct back to the index pages located on Geocities. Additionally, roughly 20% of the site's content, located on Geocities, will be gone altogether (I still have it all backed up on my hard drive/disks at home, as well as the actual, physical art pieces in most cases). I just don't have the ambition to perform the literally hundreds of corrections necessary to get everything back on track at this point--at some future time, I may correct/replace everything, but for now, that's the way it's going to be.
I have created mirrors of the Main Page and index pages on another one of my accounts, which I will be maintaining and updating as replacements for the ones currently on Geocities. I suggest you update your bookmarks/links with that new address, or, alternatively, you can use the Updates Page to continue to view my latest works. Additionally, on a related note, due to the filtering software on the public computers I use to go online becoming more restrictive, I can no longer access my DeviantART account, so, unless I can come up with some kind of other arrangement to get online, I'm afraid you won't find my new stuff there anymore either.
While the situation is discouraging/frustrating, I don't plan to stop making artwork, or sharing it online. Despite the fact that, come October's end, the web site is not going to function properly as a whole (unless I get REAL ambitious between now and then), I'm not removing any of the things I have up on other web space accounts, and I will continue to post new material on the site as usual. If applicable, please update/remove any links you may be using to access content I have on Geocities. And, needless to say, if there's anything on the site with a Geocities address that you want to save for future reference, you'd better do it soon.
Also, if anyone reading this feels inclined to offer me web space, please understand that, while I appreciate the gesture, it won't solve the problems. I do have the space, on other accounts, to replace/fix things, it's just a matter of doing the work, which I'm not willing to attempt at this time.
