The Andhra university has an excellent library, a haven for and a stock-pile of information that students need. If university is a temple of learning, library is its sanctum sanctorum. Set in the right ambiance, the huge building that houses the library is revered and respected by all. The tranquil building, the serene atmosphere, the calm corridors where students fear to tread noisily, the sign language used by the students to convey messages or to discuss some points, interspersed with the hush-hush talk are all part of the memories of a library, where many students spend long hours pouring over books and other related material. The long reading tables with table lamps and comfortable chairs beside the book racks make a perfectly cozy setting for the studious to do their work uninterrupted. Surrounded by thick green foliage and well laid gardens and benches the very approach to the library provides the placid atmosphere.
