The auditorium is a grand, impressive building named after Dr.Cattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy, the freedom fighter. Called "Utsavarangam" in Telugu, the auditorium is a stately edifice often used to hold official ceremonies or cultural events such as convocations (graduation), plays or meetings etc.. It is an open air auditorium with seating arrangement for many. Imagine a gala musical nite here, the hall reverberating with hand clapping and foot tapping of the audience. Or a speech by an eminent speaker ringing in the hall and the engrossed students listening with rapt attention. Or a comedy show which entertains and sends the audience into stitches. The auditorium must have been a mute witness to many a spontaneous emotional outbursts of the audience. Imagine the students dressed formally for the graduation ceremony walking up the steps and entering the huge gate to fill the chairs.
