Pinecone Oranment or Center Piece
Items:
Pine Cones
Glue
Bowl
Colored Glitter
Wax Paper
Ribbon
Directions:
Line the bowl with some wax paper, then add 1/4 of glue into the bowl.  Dip and roll a pinecone around in the glue.
With another bowl fill with favorite colored glitter and gently roll pinecone in the glitter.  Set upright on a piece of wax paper to dry.
Trim with ribbon and hang on the tree or use for center pieces on mantels or tables.
Paper Christmas Stocking

Items:
Thick brown paper grocery bag or brown felt
Pencil
Scissors
Glue
A holepunch
Yarn
Markers or crayons
Directions:
Draw, on 2 seaparte pieces of paper or felt, a large stocking.  Cut out and glue the 2 stockings together around the edges: Making sure to NOT glue the top for the opening.
Punch holes around the edges of the stocking, once again making sure not to punch holes along the top section of the stocking.
Then weave yarn in and out of the holes.  Leave a loop of yar at one end, and tie it in a knot.
Decorate your stocking with crayons, markers, stickers or glitter.
Hand Print Wreath
Items:
A lot of green construction paper
A piece of red construction paper or ribbon
Pencil
Scissors
Glue
Optional:  Glitter or glitter glue
Directions:
Trace child or adult hand on a piece of green construction paper.
Cut out the hand print.  Make about 10 paper hands for each wreath.
Glue the hand prints together in a wreath shape, with the wrists overlapping a little bit.
Clue on a red ribbon bow or make one from red construction paper.
Optional: Decorate with glitter or glitter glue.
Salt Dough Ornaments
Items:
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
1/2 tsp. alum
3/4 cup water
Holiday cookie cutters
Spray gloss Polyurethane or Shellac
Acrylic or tempra paints
Paintburshes
Narrow ribbon or twine
Directions:
Mix flour and alum together in a large bowl.  Add water and stir well.  If dough seems dry, add more water - 1 tbsp. at a time.
Knead for about 5 minutes.
Divide into 4 equal portions.
Roll out each on alightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
Cut out various shapes using cookie cutters
With wood skewer (or straw) make a hole in the top of each cookie for hanging.
Place cookies on a cookie sheet and bake at 250 degrees for 1 & 1/2 - 2 hours.
Cookies are done when they are dry and hard.
Let cool on cookie sheet.
Remove and spray lightly with polyeurathane to seal.
When dry, paint cookies.
Wehn paint is dry spray cookies again with polyurethane. Let dry.
Thread ribbon through holes for hanging.
