'untitled" by Rita Hewes
she holds the bottle in her hand
'why shouldn't I' she asks
'it will only take a tip of the hand
no one will miss me anyways'
she opens the bottle
the pills pour onto the counter
placing one on her tongue
she take a drink of water
one by one the pills dissapear
in only a few munites
the entire bottle is gone
now she waits
within an hour the pills take effect
everything starts to blur
and seems to be moving
she starts to shake
she gets tired and
goes up to her bedroom
to lie down for the last time
a neighbor stops by
fingind her barely alive
call 911 and they are on their way
but they make it to late
the girl is gone
now people morn
people she never talked to
people she didn't think cared.
'Mind Emotions" by Rita Hewes
everything is clouded
so ver distorted
pictures flash by
millions at a time
they don't stop
they won't stop
the voices ar ovewhelming
comming from all directions
i want to run
but where would I go
no place to hide
so I cower in a corner
everything is mixed up
like a bad sugar rush
I don't know what to do
so I stare at my shoes
my head starts to pound
I can't take anymore
I run
where am I going?
away is all I know
away from the pictures
awayfrome the voices
away from everything
somewhere there is quiet
what do I do
where do I go
the pain hits
hard as a knife
my heart breaks
for the millionth time
i try to run again
but i can't move
the pain overwhelms me
consumes me
when will it stop
it seems it will never stop
it will continue
for all eternity
'Untitled" by Jennifer Clark
I look in your eyes
So full of desire
Tonight I want you
to cool my burning desire
Take me in your arms
hold me so close
That I feel your heart beat
Next to mine
Lay me down in extacy
As I give innocence
A last embrace
'Not Just Another Day" by Rita Hewes
no, its not just another day
it was the day you went away
you left this world
and went to a happy place
a world without pain
a world without injustice
a world filled with joy
a world consumed with love
you left this world of pain
you left those who cared for you
and friends you hadn't yet met
you left, never to return
but you shall remaiin in this world
not to feel the pain and sorrow
but to be remembered
for the love you showed to all of us
I just wish you luck
in you life after this
we love you
and will always remember you
