Gerald Gardner
"The Father of Modern Witchcraft"
Gerald Gardner has become known as the "Father of modern Wicca". His book entitled Witchcraft Today (1954) was the very first nonfiction book ever written about witchcraft. He was also the first person to practice Witchcraft in modern form. His collection of books can only be found at one of two publishers; I-H-O Books, who has only two of his works: and Godolphin House Books, which is a division of Mandrake Press. Mandrakes presss website has all of Gardners books listed and available to purchase at; www.mandrakepress.com .
The Ordains
The Ordains are a set of spiritual, practical and coven laws that govern those who practice Wicca. There are three basic categories; spiritual laws, Practical laws and craft law. Spiritual law applies to all magical people. Practical laws are almost like traditions. They are guidelines set down by those who practiced before us. Craft law belongs to group hierarchy. This set of laws is also dived by one category for general Wiccan governing and secondly by guidelines set down by each coven.
The Afterlife
When Witches die, they go to a place called the Summerland. Here they begin assessing their life on earth and when they are ready they return to try and work out whatever their Karma says needs fixing. The also reunite with friends and loved ones.
