Ways of Livings
    Krabi earns majar income from cash crops, especially oil palm and rubber. These two cash crops are grown in almost all districts, entailing two major industries-oil palm extraction, and smokes rubber sheet factory.
Rubber
The most important cash crop in Krabi, rubber grows in not less than 700,000 rai, especially in
Amphoe Muang, Khlong Thom, Ao Luk, Nua Khlong, Khao Phanom, Ko Lanta, Lamtap and Plai Phraya.
Oil Palm
Krabi grows oil palms in 400,000 rai , more than in any provinces in Thailand, making oil palm one of Krabi's identties. Most oil palms grow in Amphoe Ao Luk, Khoa Phanom ,Plai Phraya, Khlong Thom, Nua Khlong, Khao Phanom, Ko Lanta, Lamtap and Plai Phraya.

Coconut
Coconut grows in not less than 50,000 rai
in Amphoe Khlong Thom, Ko Lanta, Muang, Nua Khlong, Khao Phanom, and Lamtap
Coffee
Coffee grows mostly in Amphoe Lamtap, Plai Phraya, Khlong Thom, Khao Phanom, and Ao Luk

Fishery
Fishery abuonds along coastline and around various islands, Fisherman ชาวประมง tha marjor catch being short-bodied mackerel. Major areas for traditional fishing are Ban Bo Muang Pier in Amphoe Muang, and Laem Sak Pier in Amphoe Ao Luk. But is increasingly threatened by modern , more effective yet more destructive trawler.
Sea water farming
Farming of black tiger prawn, blooded cockle and grouper can be found in 5 Amphoe namely Muang, Khlong Thom, Ao Luk, Ko Lanta and Nua Klong. Black tigerprawn farming, in particular, expaned rapidly during 1991-1992 Krabi ranks third in Thailand's grouper farming.
