ประเพณีลอยเรือชาวเล ที่เกาะลันตา

นับเป็นงานประเพณีเก่าแก่ของชาวเลที่หาดูได้ยาก งานนี้จัดขึ้นตรงกับวันเพ็ญเดือน 6 และวันเพ็ญเดือน 11 ของทุกปี โดยกลุ่มชาวเลในบริเวณเกาะลันตาและเกาะใกล้เคียง จะมาชุมนุมกันทำพีธีลอยเรือ เพื่อสะเดาะห์เคราะห์ ณ ชายหาดใกล้ ๆ กับบ้านศาลาด่าน ในพีธีจะร้องรำทำเพลง มีการร่ายรำรอบลำเรือด้วยจังหวะและ
ทำนองเพลงรองเง็ง

Likaypa
Likaypa is a popular local play
which might originate in this region by modifying from original Likay.Likaypa always starts with the account of an Indian trader from Calcutta who visited the western coast of Thailand, and married to a native woman named
Yayee before taking her back home. Then, the play will proceed to other stories.
Shadowplay [Nang Talung]
Shadow play reflects a mixture between local and Indian cultures. There are many shadow play groups in Krabi, notably Mr.Viri Nuenoal Mr.Prachum Chukhan, Mr.Nop Teekul and Mr.Chid Ornchan.

Manohra
Active manohra artists include Mr.Singha Voottivong, Mr.Van Pao-ngern and Mr. Kwanpetch Duangthong.
Rong - Ngeng and Tanyong song
Probably influenced by Malay culture,
which was adapted from Portuguese culture, Rong-ngeng was tradition ally playes in courtiers residences. It was later adapted, notably by trans lating the song into Thai, played by villagers, and thus renamed Tanyong song. There remain many rong-ngeng and tanyong artistic groups in Krabi, including those of Mr.Hrone and Mr.Da-ah.
