General Tips
These are tips provided to get you started in the game. They are not a walkthrough, just little ideas I found helpful in playing.
1. SAVE A LOT- you never know when you might fall off a cliff or get attacked by some unexpected visitor. You don't want to die and have to repeat a large portion of the game.
2. SAVE UNDER DIFFERANT GAMES. Sometimes when you explore new territories you get into a situation where you can't in anyway get out of alive and if you save in a situation like this under one game only, you'll be stuck and will have to start over.
3. LEARN THE SHORTCUT KEYS. This just makes the game go faster. Important ones are:
F3-REPEAT
F5-SAVE
F7-RESTORE
CONTROL Q-QUIT
TAB-INVENTORY
4. STOP WALKING when you're going up the path and you see Lolotte's goons. They weill take you the rest of the way up the path and you won't have to risk falling off on the way up.
5. EXPLORE EVERYWHERE AND LOOK IN EVERYTHING. You never know where you might find something. Also take everything you find. You never know when you might need it, and you use almost everything you come across.
6. TRY TYPING THINGS IN DIFFERENT WAYS. If the computer won't let you do something, it is often because it doesn't understand what you are trying to say. Rewording things helps.
7. THINK CREATIVELY. This game has a lot of differant fairy tales and stories that take place. When you see something, try and relate it to a story.
8. LAST OF ALL, TAKE YOUR TIME AND ENJOY THE GAME. It is a fun game. Play it slowly and look at everything.
