General Tips
These are tips provided to get you started in the game. They are not a walkthrough, just little ideas that I found helpful in playing.
1. Save a lot. You never know when you might get attacked by some unexpected visitor or fall off a cliff. You don't want to die and have to repeat a large portion of the game.
2.Save under differant games. Sometimes when you explore new territories you get into a situation where you can't in any way get out of alive, and if you save in a situation like this under one game only you'll be stuck and will have to start over.
3.Learn the shortcut keys. This just makes the game go faster. Important ones are:
F3-repeat
F4-look at item
F5-save
F7-restore
Alt-Z-exit
Tab-inventory
=-swim
The others are listed by going to help.
4.Read the doors. A lot of times reading the doors will trigger something else.
5.Explore everywhere and look in everything. You never know where you might find something. Also take everything you find. You never know where you might need it, and you use almost everything you come across.
6.Try typing things in differant ways. If the computer won't let you do something, it is often because it doesn't understand what you are trying to say. Rewording things helps.
7.You can only cross the bridge 7 times. That is exactly how many times you need to cross it, so if you froget to do something on the other side of the bridge you are in trouble. That also means that if you forget the insription on the door you can't go back and reread it.
8.Last of all take your time and enjoy the game. It is a fun game. Play it slowly and look at everything!
