Introduction
Imagine a world covered with metal from top to bottom, through the mouth and tongue. Buildings reaching up to the skies. Oxygen created by carbon particle machines. Green no longer a visible color but a distant memory. A speed minimum over 120, highways built like mazes fishing themselves through every part of the city. Houses stacked on each other, sideways, upside down no longer any room for my mailbox. To find a like is like finding gold. Rain water acuminates in the deeper parts of the city, now turned into trenches left behind, nobody goes down there. A simple flashlight wont lead you a foot through the thickness.
But everything crumbled, because of us.

Chapter One; Newcomer.
The two figures ran at each other soundlessly. Hold your breath, this is what it comes down to. A clash of silver and blue, sparks fly in all directions. Luckily its not windy, the heat will not reach us. More clashes sound, the impacts are sent traveling to the audience but it reaches me first. I am standing nearest to the outer border. I feel the bodies around me press closer to get better looks. I am bellowed by a man. Watch it girl. His breath smells like fish.
I struggle to see whats happening out in the field but the man has stolen my spot, others swarm around him. This fight is attracting more attention with every move the fighters make. No matter, i find an isolated spot that is the further from the crowd, but its also the coldest being it is farther away from any body heat.
One of the men fighting is my brother, Boron. He is one of the best fighters in the village. I watch him swing around his blade, turning it at high speeds. He aims it at his opponent. This is his finishing move. The crowd cheers for him.  Boron has the upper hand right now, still the boy, who I recognized must be a little bit older than me, holds on tight to his sword. As Boron swings his sword for the last time his opponent can only brace himself. But it wont be enough I thought. Boron summoned all his strength and advanced his blade at him. In a split second the opponent met his blade. The black blade of the opponents pushed further into Borons blade. Boron lost his grasp; the sword was flung from his hands. The blue blade spiraled at my direction, this entire wave of movements happening in a matter of seconds.
Everything blurred as I jumped and somersaulted into the air and over the flying blade. It hit the tree behind me; knocking it over with a loud thud.
I landed on the floor and all heads turned towards me; mouths wide open. I looked towards the fight. Boron was shaking his opponents hand; he had lost the fight without losing his life. The opponent had chosen to end to it there. My brother turned to me and called me over. Slowly I onto the dirt platform. Silence still occupied the air.
Most of everyone has heard of my incredible speed in the village, it was nothing new, but never the less all the eyes on my back made me feel uneasy. I took a bolder glance at the blonde boy standing in front of me. He wasnt as strong as my brother; that was for sure. But his blade, I realized, was something I hadnt seen yet. It compacted two in one, glowing with a blue essence. And the way he stood, spelled confidence.
Boron led the way out of the arena. At his side was the boy they quietly chatted. I trailed behind. How could this guy beat my brother? It didnt make sense.  We walked to a small room near the arena, Boron often occupied it when he wasnt living in the house. When I was younger I would always hide out here.
That was some match. Boron went up and got some water. The boy chuckled and leaned against a wall. I stood awkwardly between the two unable to utter a single syllable.

Boron handed the boy and me a water bottle. Rue, Boron said addressing me. this is Will, hes been my team member for quiet some time. I looked at the blonde boy and half heartily smiled.
Boron put playfully hit my head. Will, this is my sister Rue. Will took out his hand and shook mine.
The one who nearly got sliced by your blade. He said looking at me.
I laughed. As if it would have touched a single hair on my head.
Ah yes you were too fast? Will stepped towards me and lunged a kick. I ducked, making him miss.
Shes fast Boron. He said standing up. Confused I turned to Boron.
Boron put an arm around my shoulder. Shes all about speed and agility. He said. Will looked at me; I shrugged, trying not to blush.
Will looked out the window suddenly thinking of something, averting his eyes to something else.
Boron. The team is coming together again, and we need you back. Will said slowly, taking his time with words.
Quick to get to the point arent you Boron set down his water. What for?
Some mission of sort. They were brief on the details. But its important. Will set down his water as well. I watched Boron zone out in thought.
Hurriedly I tugged on Boron, trying to bring him back to reality. Boron, you cant leave, not again. I said quietly. What about mom and dad?
Boron winced.
I have to go Rue He said to me. I averted my eyes to the floor. All three of us stood in silence.
Will drank his water slowly. She should come with us. My head shot up to Will. Boron turned to him.
What!? Boron asked.
She could really help the team. Will injected. Excitement rushed through my veins, already thoughts were forming in my mind.
No never! Boron was horrified by the idea.
Im coming with you Boron. I said sternly.
Boron glared at me.No.

Chapter two; New Begining
I was leaving today.
I woke up in the morning with a jolt. I was leaving with Boron. After much persuasion, I was able to convince my parents that it was a good idea for me to join Borons mission.
Its sort of sad though, to be leaving my parents and friends, but its not like Im never come back.
I climbed out of bed and got dressed. Quietly I snuck out my window that sat directly on top of our neighbors roof. I knew nobody in the house would notice I was gone since theyd still be asleep for another hour or so. The sun wasnt even up yet.
I walked lightly on the roof and onto the next one (most of the roofs in this town are all practically connected) until I reached a blue tinted roof.
I hung myself upside down in front of a familiar window, and gently knocked. A few minutes later my best friend, Uni, opened the window. Her face was sad. As soon as I stepped in she started crying.
I hugged her. What if you get killed? She asked in a whisper. I had already told her the news of my departure yesterday.
Uni, Im only going away on a simple mission with my brother. She sniffled but nodded.
Ever since I met Uni at the age of five, Ive become accustomed to her overly acting on everything. It was just a part of her that you had to learn to deal with.
Have fun. And dont forget me. Her tone of voice was meant to make me feel guilty. I smiled at her.
Dont ever worry about that Uni. I replied. She sighed at me, giving up the idea that she could guilt me into canceling the trip. We hugged one last time and I climbed out the window bidding my most precious friend goodbye.
Wait! Make sure you dont run off and get married with that blonde boy youre going with. She said smiling.
Surprised I blinked back at her.
Who? I asked.  Quickly I remembered Borons opponent from last night, the one who suggested that I come in the first place. Will?
She grinned. Yes him. Hes so cute! I laughed and climbed back up on the roof. Surprisingly I had made it back before anyone had woken up and realized I was gone.
~*~
At breakfast Boron wasnt talking to me. No matter how many times I tried assuring him that I was practically a grown woman who could take care of herself, he still wasnt convinced.
But it doesnt matter what he thinks. I was going whether he liked it or not.
Boron whats the mission about? I asked.  Boron focused on eating  his breakfast.
I dont know. He replied swirling his spoon.  Well that was a big help.
And the team? How did you meet them?
Wendergand Academy. He replied. Boron had left home for five years to go to the Wendergand Academy, there he got the proper training on his fighting skills I could only dream of getting. When he came back it was like he was a new person.
Hurry up and eat. Will is coming over soon. Im going to get my motorcycle.
I looked down at my oatmeal, circling the spoon, round and round. Boron stood up and rumaged through his pockets.
Here He gave me a blue wind blade. Its for the trip, try not to hurt yourself with it.

Will's View.

I rode up to find a black haired girl waiting on the door steps. She was the girl from the arena last night. She hadnt even noticed me ride up. I looked around for Boron, when I found no sign of him I closed my eyes. I had gotten up too early.
Out of the corner I saw her pick up her head and look at my direction. She stared at me quietly, surprised. Boron is in the garage getting his bike. She said to me. I nodded to her.
She looked down at her shoes. Am I riding with you? Her voice was quiet.
Why do you ask? Surprised I turned to her.
Her cheeks reddened a little bit.
I dont know. Boron seems kind of mad at me, I just though her voice trailed off as a loud roar sounded and Boron rode out of the garage with his motorcycle. She was right; he didnt look too happy.
I dont see why not. I replied while getting on my motorcycle. Come on. I sat up on my bike. Unsurely she came up to me and swung her leg over; lightly putting her hands on my sides. Boron paused at us and rode off ahead.
I released the brake and hit the gas.
We both raced to the gates.
Chapter 3

Rue s view.

I was actually leaving the village. I looked behind me and saw all the houses zoom by. Getting dizzy I tightened my grip around Will.
Scared? He asked casually. The motorcycle was soundless, and yet it felt as if the wind was stealing away the sound of my voice every time I tried to speak. The speed was incredible; everything seemed to blur, all the colors mixed into anything and something.
I shook my head. No. Exhilarating.
Im surprised you didnt decided to run the way.
I laughed. Im quick at moving, not fast at running.

Will.

We reached the city gate in exactly seven minutes. I could feel Rues heart race up as we sped on through to the valley and into the sand.
Wow. was all she said. Her village is located in the middle of a desert, built over an under ground lake, the only green spot in the area. I suppose shes never been outside the gates.
The desert isnt that big. We should be out of it soon. I replied to her.
Boron pulled back up to us. Cloud, look up ahead.
I surveyed the terrain. A sand storm was approaching, over then 20 feet high.
Just perfect. I said grinding my teeth. This was going to slow us down.
Theres no way around it. Were going through. He replied. I nodded and leaned further into my bike; speeding up. If Rue thought this was fast, well then shes seen nothing. Boron went into the cloud of sand.
Youre going to have to close your eyes so the sand wont get in. I shouted. Rue nodded and held on tighter.
