MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE GAMES
1991 Adams Finals: Boston vs Montreal
7 exciting games... 5 one-goal contests, 2 OT games.. Big games from the likes of Neely and Janney of the Bruins, and Corson and Richer for Montreal.  Neither team won two in a row in this series, and even though Boston lost 2 OT games and had never beaten the Habs in a Game 7 in the teams' long rivalry, the Bruins won this classic series in the finale, with Andy Moog being sensational in goal and Dave Christian and Cam Neely scoring big goals in the 2-1 outcome.  Along the way were classic games with Neely scored both goals in Game 1 in a 2-1 win, Stephane Richer scoring the tying and winning goals in Montreal's Game 2 overtime win, Moog stealing a win in Game 3 with his sensational puck-stopping and a late goal by Ken Hodge Jr. to win it, Shayne Corson scoring twice before getting ejected in the Habs' Game 4 win, Craig Janney's 4 assists and Neely's hat trick in Game 5, and another OT win by Montreal - on Corson's goal - in Game 6.  It was a great series.

Even though it was exciting to see Boston win a 7-game series - finally conquering Boston in a 7th game - this series ultimately cost the Bruins their chance at the Stanley Cup.  After 7 exhausting games, the Bruins had only 1 day to prepare for their next opponent, which was Pittsburgh, who Boston in 6 games in the Wales Conference Finals.
