University of Central Florida Event Day
Today was our first event. Having setup the equipment the day before, we showed up this morning around 9:45am, put some finishing touches on the activity tents and such, then gave an orientation to the promotional models that would be helping with the event.
The day event went really well. It felt like everything was working fine and the students were receptinve to the event. Some of the Volkswagen and Student Advantage people were out and they were helping and participating in the fun!
At 7pm, Mike started up the first tour viewing of the movie "Charlie's Angels." There was a really large turnout... maybe 200 people or more! We had popcorn, soda and cookies for the students. While the students enjoyed the film, our team spent time catching up with some friends from the road... Ash, Adrienne, Alyssa, Brian, Bruce and Jason. Thet helped us break down our event and load the trailer. This was an incredible help and allowed us to get out of there soon after the movie was over.
When finished, some of us went out to eat and had some more time to catch up with the others.
TODAY WAS A GREAT FIRST DAY!!!
