Minneapolis (July 1st to 7th)
Minneapolis was the city we like to refer to as our "Renassaince City." Not because of anything great about the city, but because we bought a new Vespa here. (If you are unaware of the "old Vespa," please review our week in Chicago.)
Having gotten a new Vespa definitely put us in a better mood. We also rented bikes and rode around the lakes and into the downtown. It was a great workout and a great way to see the city.
Some pictures:
The
first event after Summerfest(Milwaukee) required some serious cleaning of the
purple flooring. It took about 2 hours, but it made the whole setup look so
much cleaner.
At
the Taste of Minnesota, there were a multitude of signs stating: "NO GANG
COLORS WORN OR DISPLAYED."
The ello gang was, of course, prohibited from entering with their colors. After posing for the cameraman from "COPS", the crew disrobed and entered the "Taste" in their birthday suits.
(If you look closely, you can see that the gang is flashing their "MW" symbol... you know, Mid West.)
Here
we spotted the rare mating habits of an oversized chicken and the helpless Astro
Van.
On
the last day of the "Taste," we were privileged to catch this view
of the Basilica with the US flag and the Carnie tents in the foreground.

there will be no contributions, this page has been left intentionally blank!)
