Focus on Author –

        I’d like to highlight a variety of authors who have websites that provide information on their backgrounds, the books they’ve written and provide an opportunity for students to learn more about the stories behind the books they are reading.  Many authors have really comprehensive websites that could be a source of enjoyment and learning for kids.  I also will link onto the author page what books by that author are currently in our library.  My hope is that kids will learn something about a particular book or that author and then be excited to see what the library has to offer from that author.
