Test automation with pegasus
Modern product development is influenced by the increasing number of variants, frequency of versions, complexity and functionality. Test scenarios are becoming increasingly extensive. In particular, the ever-growing number of distributed systems calls for new concepts for automated tests. Systematic quality assurance is being given an increasingly high priority, because the subsequent elimination of errors is time-consuming and can be quite expensive.
Systematic and automated testing is intended to bring about a quicker market launch of products, an increase in availability, performance and quality, an improvement in planning reliability and a reduction in costs.

pegasus satisfies all the demands placed on a modern test system exceptionally well.
pegasus consists of adaptable, extendable, object-oriented components that ensure the quick and easy implementation of customized solutions.
pegasus is designed in such a way that even distributed test objects can be optimally coordinated with the test environment and controlled. The analysis of the test results is carried out centrally.
pegasus gives you an overall view of the test events.

Mode of operation of pegasus
  • The test manager activates and controls the test procedures.
  • The test procedures define the customer-specific test sequence. They can be configured over a graphical interface and are therefore easy to adapt to various versions and variants of a test object. The test procedures control both the test object and the test equipment.
  • The interface components are individual adapters for the test equipment and test object. They translate the instructions of the test procedures into equipment-specific control commands.
  • The test equipment stimulates the test object and analyzes the results, which in turn are edited by the test manager.
