One of the first places that I began hanging out when I discovered the world wide web is Media Domain. Within this site, is a site dedicated to each daytime soap opera. My grandmother introduced me to Guiding Light 25+ years ago and Ive been hooked ever since. So one of the first things I did was do a search on the soap opera. Ive spent many hours in the chat room and on the bulletin boards. In May 1999, I met up with several from this website in California for several days of fun in the sun. Click here to see some photos from that trip.
On the Days of Our Lives site within this site, Ive also met several people, one who lives within a few miles of me. For the past several years, she and I have been tearing it up all over town with lots of shopping, eating and concert going. Another friend lives in the next state over and I am lucky enough to visit her and her family several times a year.
Another of my favorite sites a website dedicated to the TV show M*A*S*H This site is one of the most comprehensive websites out there dedicated to M*A*S*H.
Shameless Plug Click here to see Ellen's and my website dedicated to Trick Pony.
Being a music nut, Im always searching out song lyrics. Lyrics Cafe is my favorite lyric website (if you can get past the multiple pop up ads). One of my favorite music sites is a website dedicated to the classic rock band RUSH. Here is another RUSH website dedicated to Rush Fans In Texas
The Quote Garden is the best site for finding a quote for any and all occassions. I frequently browse this site searching for that perfect quote.
I am also a huge sports fan, with baseball being my main passion. Click here to visit the official site of the 2001 World Series Champions Arizona Diamondbacks.
I am a self proclaimed 'weather geek' and I often find myself browsing either Intellicast or The Weather Channel . Both are excellent and provide lots of information as well as current radar loops and storm warnings.
A friend of mine is a member and has family historical ties to The Levoy Theatre in Millville, New Jersey. The Levoy is a historic vaudeville theatre originally built in 1908. The Levoy Theatre Preservation Society, a non-profit corporation, is dedicated to the preservation, restoration and operation of the theatre as a community performing arts center and museum.
