Kansas Professional Grant Association
The Kansas Professional Grant Association (KPGA) was founded in June of 1996 to promote a better understanding of grant development. This association strengthens the role of public or private sector grant developer by:

� Bringing together grant writers and grant funders so that they may network, collaborate on grants, and share resources.
� Offering advanced educational opportunities,
� Maintaining a code of ethics
� Promoting the public image of professional grant developers, higher business standards and better business methods
� Encouraging uniformity and cooperation by grant developers
� Educating the public in submitting grants, and
� Establishing and maintaining the integrity of grant development.

Membership consists of anyone who has an interest in grants including non-profits, granting foundations, teachers, school administrators, and independent grant writers.  Members are from all over the State of Kansas.

KPGA meets four times a year; January, April, September and November.  Agenda for the meetings is determined by the membership.  Each hour and half meeting allows time for a mini-training session and networking.  A membership application (PDF Adobe Acrobat)  can be obtained by clicking on the link below:

Membership is currently $20 a year.  It includes all KPGA meetings, a directory of members and their grant funding interests, membership to the KPGA listserv and first invitation to the KPGA summer development workshops.
