Hisame Shizumaru

Shizumaru, who had been born sometime before the great war, would become orphaned when his village came under attack. Although the Ninja had overlooked his existance, for he had been hidden, Shizumaru's life was a hard one, and many times he wished that he had let the Iga take his forsaken life. For the next few years, he would roam Kunio as a beggar, always carrying an umbrella, a gift his father and mother had given to him on his birthday.

In a far corner of Shonan, Shizumaru would run into a group of slightly older boys, who were also homeless. They would pick a fight with Shizumaru, but would promptly be trounced by him. Afterwards, they begged for him to be their leader.

Shizumaru did take their offer, and he lived with the other boys, scrounging off of scraps, begging for money, and pickpocketing. One day, he would attempt to pick-pocket a certain Kibagami Genjuro. Genjuro scolded the boy upon feeling the hand entering his pocket, but Shizumaru, surprisingly, attacked the Samurai. Although Genjuro easily avoided the boy's attack, it was clearly obvious that the boy showed promise. Against Shizumaru's wishes, Genjuro took the boy to Haomaru, telling his friend that Shizumaru should be trained as a Samurai.

Although it took some time, Shizumaru did let his defenses down, finding a true friend in Haomaru, who also liked him. Shizumaru learned the way of the sword. All through this time, the war had been raging on. Shizumaru, who believed that he was ready, did participate in many battles, the youngest Samurai ever known, his umbrella forever at his side.

He would die at a ripe old age of heart failure, after leading a glorious and prosperous life.
