"Mystery Ship" No. 1
(Photography by Karsten Petersen ©)
This "Mystery Ship" has the appearance and
lay-out as a normal, civilian dry cargo ship, but it is painted "navy gray"
and has clearly navy type numbers written on the bow, - "TM-01" -, but
unfortunately no name can be clearly seen on this picture.
The flag aft shows some colours, - of which
red and yellow can be identified -, which could be for example the German
flag, and furthermore the design also looks like classical German, - but
nothing is sure.
Can anybody contribute with further information
about this ship?
If so, - please let me know - - -
"Mystery Ship" No. 2
- Shanghai II class gunboat
with the unusual number "53-3-1".
(Photography by Karsten Petersen ©)
I have written that this class
of gun boat is a Shanghai II class, - a type built in large numbers in
China, - and also exported.
Question is:
Where did I photograph this
ship? I really forgot!
Was it in China, - or could
it be maybe Pakistan, - Sri Lanka, - or somewhere else where the "Shanghai
II" was used?
I really have forgotten, and
would like to know which navy it belongs to - - -
"Mystery Ship" No. 3
(Photography by Karsten Petersen ©)
- the year of this photo is
1977, but cannot remember anything about where it was taken -
The ship name has 6 letters.
Any suggestions about the identity
of this ship?
"Mystery Ship" No. 4
