she thought her cooking was just mush

her buns were just fine

her nature divine

this beautiful lady from Wabush.

I have a friend on ICQ

when we first met, t'was all so new.

We talked of nothing, weather and such

and now we talk of oh so much.

When I am down and in the dirt,

she comes along to ease the hurt.

We help each other through the day,

in such a very special way.

She makes me laugh , she makes me smile,

if only for a little while.

To love this girl is not a sin

for she is there through thick and thin.

There is so much I'd like to say

if only I could find a way.

But poems are short and never long

always true and very strong.

So it is time for this to end,

remember though,

You came to us at not quiet two

we fell instantly in love with you

Your winning smile, that little curl,

I tried to make you "daddy's girl"

You grew so fast, I'm not sure how

but you are now my young woman now

We've had our troubles, you and I

you've made me laugh, you've made me cry.

You are my soul and in my heart,

even when we are apart.

You met this man , the one you see.

the one I like to call JP.

Times have changed, I'm not sure how,

but I know you are his girl now.

Just remember when you go away,

in my heart you'll always stay.

The winds of change have blown through town

My life seems like it's crashing down

I've lost my job, my friends don't call

Things don't seem the same at all

My wife it seems, content to be

with her PC friends instead of me

She talks with them both day and nite

I somehow think, this is not right

I sit alone and by myself

like some old nic nac on the shelf

She does not seem to understand

I need her here to hold my hand

The winds of change they blow round me

It's just not like it use to be

I love my girl with heart and soul

To win her back is my new goal

My job for now and till the end

to make my wife my new best friend

Please Dear God

just hear my prayer

and show me that you're really there

Bring my sweetheart back and see

just how it is suppose to be

I need her here, if just to say
