Little Angel Love

Once there was a little boy
Whose heart was very sad;
His little sister died one day
And that made him so mad.

But one night, as he lay asleep,
A Little Angel came;
She whispered softly in his ear,
And gently called his name.

"Please don’t be sad!" The Angel said,
"Your sister’s here with me!
And I shall take good care of her;
Just you wait and see!"

The Little Angel Love smiled down
Upon the young child’s face;
"I know this must be hard for you,
But you must trust God’s Grace.

Your sister, ‘though you can’t see her,
Is always by your side;
Watching over you each day
As though she had not died!

She loves you very much, you see,
But God knew what was best;
So your sister went to Heaven
And now she feels such rest!

But please don't fear, she's still with you,
And I am with you, too;
So dry your eyes, and smile for her;
For your life is still brand new!"
